How to make money in the streaming age

Streaming is a big deal for the music industry. It’s how most people listen to music, and it’s how artists make money. However, many musicians are still wondering how to make money in the streaming age. Here’s everything you need to know about making money through streaming:

You don’t have to be a millionaire to find cash in your couch.

It’s not just about making money. It’s about learning to accept help and support from other people, whether that means asking for help or giving it.

That’s why I didn’t confine my plea to my close friends—I asked people I barely knew, too. Even if you only see them once in a blue moon (or never at all), they have the ability to help you out if they feel like it!

You’ll never know unless you ask, so don’t be afraid of rejection here either. If someone says no—no big deal! Go on about your day with your head held high and continue asking until someone says yes! And even then, keep on asking; don’t let anyone take advantage of your generosity or loyalty by constantly using up whatever resources come their way without ever having any intention of helping themselves in return. Those types aren’t worth keeping around anyway because they’re just leeches looking for someone else’s hard-earned cash without doing anything useful themselves (or worse: taking advantage).

Get paid to binge-watch TV.

Binge-watching is a great way to make money and it’s legal. You can get paid to watch episodes of your favorite TV shows for companies like Netflix or Hulu. You can also use apps like Jango Radio, which play music that you choose. All you have to do is listen and earn! The pay varies depending on the company, but it’s usually between $1-$3 per hour of watching/listening time in addition to free access to their content library (which means more binge-watching!).

This is another case where you should always read the fine print before signing up with any new sites or apps because some will try to trick people into paying them more money than they actually owe under false pretenses. If something seems too good be true then it probably is!

Put your unused tech and toys to work.

You can also make money by reviving old tech and toys. If you’ve got a PlayStation or Xbox laying around, sell it on eBay or Craigslist. You may not get the full retail price, but you’ll still make something from an old console that’s not being used.

Similarly, if you have some books or movies that aren’t being read or watched anymore, consider selling them at a used bookstore like Half Price Books (or even give them away).

You can do this with clothes and furniture as well—just make sure to clean everything first before listing it online!

Sell your old, unused apps.

In order to sell your unused apps, you can use a service like Apptopia. They’ll help you set up a listing and will handle the payment process for you.

If you have a really popular app that’s been out for a while (like Candy Crush or Flappy Bird), then chances are there are people who are still playing it today — just not on your phone anymore!

You can also try selling your old applications through Craigslist or eBay if they’re specific enough that someone might pay money for them.

It’s not common practice but there is a market for buying websites too! We’ve seen some pretty high prices paid recently so if this sounds interesting to you check out our article on how much websites sell for these days!

Get paid in exchange for your opinions.

There are a number of ways to get paid for your opinions. You can:

  • Get paid to take surveys (not all surveys are legitimate, so do your research first)
  • Get paid to test products (think taste-testing food or trying out new electronics)
  • Get paid to be in focus groups (and let companies know what you think about their services and products)

Or, if you’re looking for something more active:

  • Get paid to write reviews on sites like Yelp or TripAdvisor. This is an excellent way to make some extra cash while actually having fun! Just remember not to exaggerate—or at least don’t go overboard with your praise and five star ratings—since it can backfire when people see through the BS.

The best credit cards for earning cash back, from rewards on groceries to dining out and travel perks.

For example, the Chase Freedom Unlimited® offers 1.5% cash back on all purchases. That’s not going to make you rich, but it’s a good starting point for earning rewards if you’re just getting started. The best part about this card is that its annual fee is waived for the first year, making it easy to get started without incurring any costs right away.

Another popular option is the Capital One® QuicksilverOne® Cash Rewards Credit Card, which offers 1.5% cash back on all purchases and has no annual fee. The downside here is that there’s no sign-up bonus or other incentives—you simply earn a flat 1.5% rate on everything you buy each month (unless you pay your balance in full).

Change the way you think about making money on the internet!

There are a few ways to make money on the internet. One is by becoming a millionaire. The other is by getting paid to binge-watch TV and sharing your opinions on it.

There’s no reason why you can’t do both! But if you’re actually reading this article, chances are that you’d rather sit on your couch and watch Netflix than become rich off of your web presence (or vice versa). That’s fine! It’s totally normal—and we’ve got a lot of tips for making money from streaming services in general below.

While it’s easy to get caught up in the idea of making a million dollars overnight, the truth is that there are plenty of ways to make money on the internet that don’t require a big investment or risk.
